couple in snow

Lake Tahoe Fall Engagement Session

Hands up. Who was prepared to deal with snow, wind, and freezing cold for this shoot. {insert cricket noises}. Garrett, Turner, and I went to a field in the middle of the mountains…what we found was…yep, you guessed it…snow. Lake Tahoe November snow had covered the field, but we didn’t let that stop us. A little rosé + a bottle of champagne + a shitload of snuggling in the sunshine kept this happy couple nice and warm. Turner and Garrett have this dynamic relationship that is literally intoxicating. They are so sweet to one another and their playfulness shines in the photographs,…I mean, they are so damn cute. After trekking around in our NON-SNOW boots, we hopped in the car and found a wooded area off the side of the highway. After we felt like we had thawed out, Turner and Garrett cuddled up in a blanket as I snapped away. It was not hard to fall in love with this couple. They were so much fun, lighthearted, and adored one another like mad. PLUS, they kept me laughing the entire time. I am thrilled for their 2018 wedding – it’s going to be an amazing day.
